One Last Look at 2016

My Curious Kolo, One Last Look at 2016.

I remember when we first brought Kolo home, she was so small, I was afraid she would fall through the deck slate. Now look at her.

Richard Paints a Watercolor of Kolo

Richard working on watercolor of Kolo
Nothing better than this. Spending time at a nearby coffee shop with Richard. I work on my writing and he works on his art. The time just slips away and I am in heaven.

Kolo Likes the Guest Room

The guest room is ready for company and Kolo has hopped aboard. The warm sun is pouring on her and she loves the clean bed clothes.

Kolo Next To Me

When I work, Kolo is always next to me.

Exploring Carrier Park

Always nice to take Kolo for a walk. She loves it so much--is anxious and can't keep still. She gets all excited if she sees another dog, especially a small fluffy one. She whimpers and wants to engage.

Kolo is so funny.

Here we are, exploring Carrier Park, Asheville. She is joyous and we have the park all to ourselves.

Deer Tracks

The snow kissed mountains and coves are so beautiful right now.Deer tracks in my top garden are driving Kolo crazy. (Yes, her face these days is as white as snow.) Scientists say a dog’s sense of smell is 10,000 to 100,000 more acute than humans. Dogs have 300 million olfactory receptors in their noses.
