Me and Kolo, a Study in Red

I like this photo very much.
Kolo still resists the camera-- that behavior she learned from camera-shy Clapton. But even with her wiggle reticence, I captured a good selfie. I feel delight with this one because of the fall trees behind us, our two big noses and my smile, prominent eyeliner (compliments of Kayla Barlett) and red red poncho (compliments of Steven and the mannequin in a Charlotte Omni boutique).

Enough photos. Let's get on with the walk.
Cradled in red, this photo shows how precious Kolo is, how much we love her, and how sweet she is.

Love is like that. It takes over your heart and everything radiates red.

Kiss

Pure Love: Kolo approaches with a Kiss.

Carrier Park, Asheville

Kolo knows we are going to Carrier Park the moment we take the Amboy Road cutoff and get close to the French Broad River. She can smell the river and starts wagging that tale rapidly.

Once there, we walk in the greens and the rich colors of Autumn.  Everything is so beautiful.

Kolo moves with a joie de vivre at being there--sniffing, smiling, excited, happy. Her happiness is infectious. We laugh. Together, we are two carefree gypsies.

With her, I cannot take too many photos.
